Tackling goals—whether at work, at home, or in fitness—can be challenging. But if you take care of the mind, it can help you take care of everything else.
Well done on completing your first session in the Stress pack. Even acknowledging stress takes a step closer to understanding it, working with it, and even befriending it. Perhaps there’s a light at the end of this particular anxious tunnel.
Stress isn’t entirely physical, or entirely mental, it exists somewhere in-between. The stressed-out thoughts produce uncomfortable feelings, and those feelings, in turn, produce uncomfortable thoughts. So in this pack we’ll be using a visualisation to re-establish that connection with an underlying sense of calm for both the body and mind.
As the pack progresses we’ll be looking more closely at the underlying dynamics of mind, so we can see more clearly causes stress, and to see if we can skillfully step aside from those patterns of behaviour.
