Headspace, the leading mental health companion for everyday support, is pleased to announce that Fay Kallel has joined the company as Chief Product & Design Officer, effective August 18, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in product leadership and design, Kallel will oversee Headspace’s product and design strategy, helping shape the company’s next chapter of innovation with AI-enabled mental health support.

Kallel most recently served as Chief Product & Design Officer at Intuit Mailchimp, where she led a 200-person team delivering AI-powered marketing intelligence platforms that supported millions of small and mid-sized businesses. Prior to that, she was Director of Generative AI Innovation at Amazon Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, where she spearheaded Amazon’s GenAI “Think Big” strategy, product innovation, science experimentation, and AI adoption across video and multimodel foundation models. While there, she also built the team’s responsible AI practices and helped launch data governance frameworks across Amazon’s media and entertainment streaming services.

Over her career, Kallel has launched and scaled category-defining innovations, from Yahoo Gemini’s billion-user native ads platform to successful startup exits like SigOpt (acquired by Intel) and Intellisync (acquired by Nokia). She currently serves on the board of the Strozzi Institute, is a member of Chief, a private network for executive women leaders, and holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis in her home country, Tunisia. Kallel is also a certified transcendental meditation instructor, medical hypnotherapist, and lifelong yoga practitioner.
