Better mental health starts with Headspace

Hi, Thomas here. Welcome to this moment of reflection on your journey of seeking discomfort. I find that reflection is an important part of my process of seeking discomfort. Taking a moment to look back at what I've accomplished or learned helps some of the lessons sink in. So we'll offer you an opportunity and a prompt to reflect on or journal about at each step of this journey. As you can see, seeking discomfort can be a powerful tool for self-growth, but it is a skill, just like any other, that requires practice. We can start by just getting curious about what thoughts and feelings we notice around our own discomfort. This awareness can help us get a better idea of where we're starting from. So let's take a moment to reflect or journal. If you need a moment or two, you can pause here to grab a pen and paper, or whatever you like to journal with. The prompt for today is, what does discomfort look and feel like for you right now in your life? What discomfort are you arriving to this collection with? We'll give you a few minutes now to reflect on this, but feel free to take whatever time you need. (gentle relaxing music) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) (gentle relaxing music continues) Thank you for joining me for this reflection exercise. If you found this helpful, share this exercise with a friend who is reaching outside of their comfort zone....
