So either sitting down or lying down, just beginning with a nice, big, deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth. As you breathe out, you can close the eyes and allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm. And just take a moment to feel the weight of the body pressing down, into the seat or the floor beneath you. Just allowing any thoughts, any sensations to come to the surface. Body and the mind just letting go of those things. As the body begins to unwind the muscles in the feet and the legs, just switching off, letting go, in the stomach, the chest, the back and the muscles just softening, giving way, switching off. Your arms, the hands and the fingers or just letting go and neck, head, even the muscles in the face. Softening, letting go, both the body and the mind, unwind. You can either gently open the eyes again or just leave them shut now....
