(gentle music) Hi, my name is Tembigula, and I'm here to talk about uncertainty. Today, I hope to receive relief from talking about it. I feel like it's something I don't often share with others about how I feel. So in doing this, I hope that this brings me a sense of release, even in my body of just not worrying about hiding it anymore. (music fades) We are reflecting on what brought us here today. Like what did-what called us to tell our story. Would you like to start? It's a long story. (everyone laughs) Take your time. My big secret is uncertainty. I feel like everything has been very structured, especially 'cause I'm 25, so I graduated college in 2020. I just came here, and I did like some random job and I was kind of doing that- a series of starting, quitting jobs. And then people would ask me like, oh, like what? What's going on? Like, what are you doing? And I'd be at home and then, like, they call me tomorrow, what are you doing? I'm at home. (everyone laughs) Next week, I'm at home. (everyone laughs) The rest of my family would just think that I was just relaxing, being lazy. And then somehow everything was working out. Just that fear of uncertainty would swallow me up sometimes. It would just cause me a lot of anxiety. Like, I don't know, like am I gonna end up being homeless? I don't know. Like just so many things, like, would go through my mind. It manifests into tension in my body. I would find myself grinding my teeth or clenching my jaws and feet and body just all together, just being so tight. I got to a place where I wanted to learn how to heal myself. One thing that really spoke volumes to me is meditation. I started doing the guided meditations. I think I'm just like an active person. I feel better when I'm moving, even I like to dance. I feel like it helps me, like, release. And so when I would sit for meditation sometimes, it would be hard to focus on the meditation because I'd be trying to focus on being still. Like, okay, stop moving, stop moving. (everyone laughs) Like, you know. And so then I just started creating meditations for myself. (Man In Red Shirt) Wow. And so I would do movement meditation to help me release that tension. And I feel like that's just brought me a lot more peace and also like healing of myself. And it taught me how powerful my mind is. Even when I'm feeling back pain to do a meditation, I feel the relief. I'm just so struck by your, like, creativity and commitment to finding what works for you to being a seeker and the message to reach out. You know, but there's also reaching in and going, what do I need? And if it's not out there- Great. in the world of YouTube...
