The Rain Museum
Inside the Rain Museum, rain falls through quiet spaces onto unique shapes and structures. Each room is a new rhythm — and a new work of art. Narrated by Frankie.

(rain pelting) (feet thudding) (vehicle honking) Did you know that there is a museum where it's always raining? Not in a way that soaks your clothes, but rather in carefully constructed installations built entirely around falling water. Each room offers a unique interpretation of rainfall. Just inside the entrance, the soft sound of water begins, steady and immersive. Filling the space before the first gallery ever comes into view. (rain pelting) Before we explore, let's take a moment for a brief wind down exercise. Tonight's wind down is a visualization. So when you're ready, let's begin. So just take a moment to get comfortable. (rain pelting) Letting go of the day. (rain pelting) Enjoying that feeling of having stopped, of having nothing left to do. (rain pelting) We're going to focus the attention of the mind on the different parts of the body. (rain pelting) Watching as the muscles in the body switch off for the night. Leaving the body feeling rested and the mind more at ease. (rain pelting) So, starting down at the toes and just a sense of the muscles switching off, the feet, the arches, all those muscles switching off. (rain pelting) Same in the lower half of the legs. So any tension being let go of as the muscles switch off, shut down. In the upper half of the legs, any tension melting away, being let go of, into the area of the hips, the pelvis. Again, any muscles shutting down for the night. (rain pelting) Completely at rest. Everything from the waist downward is heavy, at ease. (rain pelting) The muscles in the lower back and stomach now switching off. (rain pelting) Middle of the back, around the diaphragm, the upper back, and the chest. (rain pelting) So any muscles not needed shutting down, switching off for the night. (rain pelting) The shoulders switching off. (rain pelting) The upper half of the arms and the lower half of the arms switching off. (rain pelting) The hands, fingers, just switching off. (rain pelting) Any muscles around the throat and neck switching off. The head, the face, the jaw, the eyes. (rain pelting) Any last areas of tension melting away as the muscles shut down, switch off. (rain pelting) At rest for the night. (rain pelting) And allowing thoughts to come and go. Allowing the mind and body the space they need to rest. (rain pelting) (gentle meditate music) The cathedral of agates rises within a darkened hall. Towering slabs of agate lift from the museum's polished floor, some taller than a person. Their bases, thick and weighty, anchoring them in place. These crystal formations were selected and sourced over the years by someone who has spent a lifetime studying the language of rocks and understanding how light moves through ancient minerals. A controlled sheet of rain falls from above. Behind the agates, hidden lights glow. As rain passes in front of the stones and across their surfaces, the backlighting ignites the layered bands of color within...
