Welcome to Night Town. It's a very sleepy town nestled between two hills. There's a river that passes through it, running under a bridge at the end of the main street. There are shops all down the main street. The local school is here too. Most of the townspeople live in small houses on the two streets which cross the town center or in the cottages, which are dotted all around the fields nearby. Not much happens here. It's a great place to get away from it all. It's also the perfect place for a night walk. The people are all sleeping, so it's very quiet. The only sounds are the wind and the crackle of the electricity wires. As we tour Night Town, I'd like to encourage you to just close your eyes and imagine each place that we visit. Maybe it will remind you of somewhere you've been or somewhere you'd like to go. That's fine too. Just be confident that whatever you see in your mind's eye is the right thing to be seeing. Before we set out tonight, we're going to do a short breathing exercise. It will help prepare your body to fall gently back to sleep. So just lie back and follow my simple instructions. First, get comfortable in your bed. Now just bringing the attention to the breath. Just noticing where you feel it, In the nose, the throat, the chest, the diaphragm. You're nice and relaxed. We're going to be taking a deep breath in for four, holding it for four, and then breathing out for six. So are you ready? Let's begin. In for four. Two, three, four. Hold it for four. Two, three, four. Now breathing out for six. Two, three, four, five, six. In for four. Two, three, four. Holding it for four. Two, three, four. Out for six. Two, three, four, five, six. In for four. Two, three, four. Holding it for four. Two, three, four. Out for six. Two, three, four, five, six. In for four. Two, three, four. Holding for four. Two, three, four. Out for six. Two, three, four, five, six. Brilliant. Now returning the breath to normal. Here's our flower store. The sign outside says In Bloom. It belongs to Roger Beacon, the florist. Roger used to be in a rock band, but at some point, out on the road, he woke up to find the tour bus had arrived in New Mexico. It was spring. When he stepped outside, all the desert flowers were in bloom. A carpet of color spreading as far as the eye could see. That's when he knew that the bass guitar wasn't really his calling after all. It was flowers. Since it's nighttime, the front window is empty, but you can see beyond that lit up in the fridge at the back are Oriental lilies on long stems. Their buds still closed. Also green thistles, which go by the name of Miss Willmott's ghost. At the front is...
