Ever since becoming an ASMR creator, shopping has become a completely different experience for me. So instead of, you know, being a normal person and going to the supermarket and purchasing oranges, now I'm just like holding up apples and tapping them at my ear, listening to if they sound good. So I have a bunch of just random items, which, you know, we wouldn't think twice of, you know, we'd just throw it in the bin, but for an ASMR creator, it's a goldmine. Hi, friends, it's Rosie here. Welcome back to "Radio Headspace." I don't know about you, but I've been going through a pretty big ASMR phase recently, and I wanted to learn more about it, specifically how one becomes an ASMR artist. So, I brought on Australia's finest. Jojo has been making ASMR videos for about 10 years, and what I like about him is that he really focuses on helping people wind down and fall asleep. We dig into why and how he started his channel and what he thinks makes an incredibly relaxing ASMR video. So stay tuned and wait until the end, because he gives us a very special ASMR experience. Thank you for having me, it's good to be here. Thank you so much. That golden voice, I want you to create an entire course, a meditation course that I could just listen to so I can tease my- Do you think people would want to check it out? Well, let's ask them, if you're listening to this right now, let us know in the comments. Love that, great. Well, to get started, Jojo, I would love for you, if you don't mind sharing, you are clearly the, I'm gonna call you the goat, the ASMR (laughs). That's so nice of you, thank you. You are the ASMR goat, and just, I'm so fascinated by your story because I did a little research on how you got started and your sort of trajectory on YouTube, but I'm hoping, if you don't mind sharing with us, how you got into ASMR. Yeah, it's a great question. My earliest memory of ASMR, otherwise known as autonomous sensory meridian response, had to have been when I was in preschool and my teacher was reading me a book and we sort of would just sit there as a class and just listen to the teacher read this book. And I felt this weird tingling sensation at the back of my head. And it sort of just gave me this euphoric sort of relaxation that I hadn't really...
