Hi, this is Dora. Today, we'll be trying a grounding technique to help settle your mind and body, and rediscover a sense of balance whenever you need it most. Being mindful is never really about the destination. (water splashing) It's about the journey and those moments of clarity that we find along the way. (frog croaking) Oftentimes, it's easy to feel like you're bogged down on that journey, like you're caught up with the factors beyond your control or by the darker aspects of the mind. (frog croaking) In those instances it can be reassuring to think about the lotus seed, how despite being buried (soft music) in the murky depths of a muddy pond that seed can persevere and blossom into a beautiful flower. It's a comforting reminder that no matter where you are on your journey, no matter what conditions you face, there's also the possibility of beauty all around you. So visualizing that lotus seed, talking hold of the ground beneath you, flourishing, providing a strong foundation in the earth and the right conditions for meaningful growth. Remember, you are strong, firmly rooted in this moment and capable of great things. You can always come back to this whenever you need to reconnect to a sense of groundedness or reconnect with your environment and surroundings. Thank you for watching. (frog croaking) Have a healthy, happy day....
