Better mental health starts with Headspace

Hi, Thomas here. Welcome to this final moment of reflection and journaling on our journey of seeking discomfort. Now, discomfort may have been something you've shied away from in the past. However, we can actually learn a lot about ourselves from our discomfort if we get curious about it and find ways to work with it, not against it. Whether it was hiking to the loneliest house in the world or sharing my insecurities in public, I've been able to reframe discomfort to view it as a compass, directing me towards a greater sense of growth instead of as something to avoid. And in that process, I've experienced great transformation. So let's grab pen and paper and take a moment to reflect or journal. Having gone through this experience of reaching outside of your comfort zone what have you learned about yourself and how have you been able to redefine what discomfort means to you? We'll give you a few minutes now to reflect on this but feel free to take however much time you need. (gentle music) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) (gentle music continues) Thank you for joining me for this reflection exercise and for this journey around seeking discomfort. If you found this helpful, share this exercise with a friend who is reaching outside of their comfort zone. We hope you come back and revisit these tools each time you seek to stretch beyond your comfort zone....
