If you're feeling overwhelmed or anxious right now, (thunder crashing) or if you just need a moment to pause, (rain falling) this is a visualization intended to help you slow down and reconnect to the breath. (thunder crashing in distance) It can be easy to focus on one negative emotion or experience and let that grow into a story that life is just one negative thing after another. (rain falling) But remember, feelings don't last forever and we can always pause and allow ourselves to feel them before they pass, creating space for something new. (rain falling) So for now, take a moment to breathe deeply until the raindrops fill the sidewalk, allowing whatever feelings are present to just be here in this moment.
