Chapter III: Sweet Tatooine™ Dreams
In Chapter III of Find your Force, a new family and kids mindfulness series from Headspace and Star Wars™, Chewbacca™ and BB-8™ finally make it to Tatooine™, where a mischievous Jawa™ helps them find the missing hyperdrive part. But it’s been a long journey, and these two could really use a good night’s rest. Headspace expert Samantha Snowden leads us through a wind-down exercise for sweet dreams so we can hit the open galaxy tomorrow — hopefully back at lightspeed.

Last time on Find your Force with Star Wars, Chewbacca and BB-8 continued their journey to their final destination, Kashyyyk, but there's one more stop along the way, to find the missing hyperdrive piece on Tatooine. If their mischievous Jawa friend will help them, that is. It's been a long journey, but mindfulness gives our friends the power to keep their Force strong. I'm Sam from Headspace. It's time to Find your Force with Star Wars on a journey with Chewbacca and BB-8. (gentle music) (ship whooshing) (BB-8 beeping) (Jawa speaking gibberish) (feet thudding) (BB-8 beeping) (object thudding) (Chewbacca roaring) (BB-8 beeping) (tool zapping) Wow, what a long day it's been. The ship is finally fixed, but these two are way too tired to complete their journey to Kashyyyk tonight. And it looks like some of us might need some help winding down. There's an exercise I use to help me get a good night's sleep, and wake up feeling like my Force is strong. Ready to wind down with me? Great. First, let's think back on our day, and be proud of ourselves for everything we accomplished. Fixing the Millennium Falcon takes a lot of hard work, courage, and determination, and it takes a strong mind to know when it's time to rest. Maybe you can even remember some fun or silly moments from the day. Did you laugh with your friends or see anything interesting? Fun times are something to be grateful for. So let's take a moment to appreciate them, and feel a little happier. Great. Now it's time to get comfortable in our spots, whether you're lying in bed or on the floor, or leaning up against a rock on Tatooine, just take a moment to make yourself comfy. And now to relax our bodies, we'll do something called squeeze and release. Let's start with our toes, squeeze them really tight. Take a deep breath in and hold, and then release your toes as you breathe out. And now moving up our legs, let's squeeze the knees together, and hold that squeeze. And then slowly release. And now for your hands, paws, or claws, make a fist and squeeze, and then slowly release, stretching your hands and your fingers. Moving up to your shoulders, squeeze them up toward your ears, hold, and then release. Lastly, let's scrunch up our faces really tight, holding that squeeze, and then slowly release and relax. And now that our body feels nice and relaxed, let's listen to the soothing sounds of the Tatooine desert to help us drift off. (wind whooshing) And now bringing your attention to your breath. Thinking of the words breathing in, and breathing out. Breathing in, and breathing out. In, and out. Okay, they're sleeping now. We'll see you back here for our final chapter, where Chewy and BB-8 finally arrive on Kashyyyk. Good night....
