Hi, and welcome to Working From Home, Ending The Day. So it's more important than ever, when we're working from home that we are able to leave our workspace if not physically, at least mentally. And actually enjoy the other aspects of our life outside of work. It's so tempting to go backwards and forwards between the two and not have the usual separation that we might have if we were working from an office or somewhere else outside of the home. So this exercise today is designed very much to mentally put down what we've been engaged with during the day, so that we can perhaps relax some wind ahead of bedtime. We're gonna start in the usual way, with the eyes open, you can do this sitting up, lying down, whatever feels most comfortable. But again, the object of this, is to leave behind our working, don't expect the thoughts to suddenly stop, they're likely to continue. And I'll talk you through how we can best work with those. But we're gonna start with the eyes open, a soft focus. And when you're ready, just taking some big deep breaths, breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. So as you breathe in, just focusing on the body taking in fresh air, as you breathe out, just a sense of letting go of anything you need to do for work, any ideas about work, just leaving all of that behind. One more time breathing in through the nose. And as you breathe out, this time, just allowing the eyes to close, allowing the body to sink down, feeling that contact. And just taking a moment to enjoy that feeling of having stopped and just checking in with the body. As always just notice how the body feels. Notice in particular, if there's any areas of tension, we're gonna work with those this evening. And just slowly scanning down through the body. Just become more aware of where those areas of discomfort are. And don't worry about the thoughts, just let any thoughts come and go. Scanning down towards the toes, becoming more aware of the breath at the same time. As always, not breathing in any special way. Just noticing the natural rhythm, not the breath in the body. And as we just settle our attention on the breath. Just gonna begin a short visualization, just encouraging the mind to let go the body to relax. Lightly imagine just above your head a steady stream of sunlight flowing down into the body. We're gonna imagine that the body is slowly filling up with that sunlight as it does it just melts any tension, allows the mind to let go any difficulties or problems or thoughts. Just turning your attention just above the head, imagining that steady flow of sunlight coming down into the body all the way down to the toes. We're gonna begin the toes just watching as it slowly begins to fill the toes...
