Welcome. So many of us want to be part of the global movement to nurture the environment and bring harmony to all its beings. This meditation is an exploration into what each of us can do, our visionary actions to make an important contribution in a way that's joyous and fulfilling. And to know that our efforts will make a significant difference for a more resilient world. This practice offers guidance as you envision what is yours to do, your vision, through the lens of honoring your personal resilience and wellbeing, knowing that the more nourished you are in your life, the more energy and attention you'll be able to offer to your vision. Come into a comfortable and supported meditation posture. Relax from the crown of the head down to the feet. Jiggle out any tension you're holding around the face, shoulders arms, hips, and legs. And then settle in. Inhaling. Notice any busyness in your thoughts. Exhaling. Visualize that busyness just drifting away. You begin to feel grounded and present in this moment. We'll begin by visualizing a nature sanctuary in your mind that we'll return to throughout this meditation. Let your memories meander over some of your favorite places in nature. Inhale the essence of this scene. Remembering the grasses, plants, trees, water, rocks, and wildlife that are at home here. Draw in a sense of opening your heart, mind, and body to this nature sanctuary. Feel yourself immersed, embodied in its splendor. With your inner gaze, look up to the sky and imagine the possibilities. Infinite space. The mesmerizing ever-changing patterns of the clouds, the sun, the moon, and the stars. On an exhalation, begin to shift your focus to whatever your head and heart envision for a bright future for earth. Begin to explore the essence of a cause or calling that resonates with you. What is a need your heart is yearning to uplift, nurture, and support? Visualize who or what will benefit from the gifts your actions could bring. Bring your attention to your brain, your intellect and insight. Into your gut, your source of inner strength. What gifts will you bring to your vision? Reflect on your skills, education, background, and experience that could support the cause. Let your mind meander over the community you will gather with to nurture your vision. Release tension around the forehead and eyebrows. Imagine that you could reach out to a supportive community and picture being together with them in resonance with your vision. Shift back to your grounding image from the nature sanctuary you visualized earlier in this meditation. There's a sense of being at home. In this moment, you've given yourself the gift of being right here, imagining what may be some of the most important work of...
