Hi, and welcome to today's meditation. So today's another recovery day, and we're gonna use the opportunity to really cultivate an environment where the body's able to let go of any tension, that might've built up during the week. Whilst at the same time, we focus on the intention. So what is that intention, that you have for your movement, for your fitness routine? What is it you're looking to get out of it? And can you use this opportunity when you cut through all the chatter in the mind to remind yourself, of what it is that's important to you, why you're doing what you're doing. So that's what we're gonna focus on today. Right now make sure that you're sitting comfortably. And it doesn't matter whether you're sitting on a chair, on the floor, wherever's most comfortable. However you're sitting, make sure that your back is as upright as is as comfortable as possible. And we're gonna begin with our eyes open, a nice soft focus, just aware of the space around you. Just begin with a couple of big deep breaths breathing in through the nose, and out through the mouth. Remember focus on the sensation of the body, taking in fresh air as you breathe in. And focusing on the body, just relaxing, letting go of any tension, as you breathe out. And with the next out breath, just gently closing the eyes. So as you, sit there just noticing, how the body feels right now, in this moment. Any areas of discomfort, any areas of ease. We're gonna notice in a bit more detail as we scan down through the body. So starting at the top of the head, just gently scanning down. And not getting stuck in any one place, but just being interested, curious. How the body feels today. So as much as possible doing this, not thinking about it but just being aware of the physical sensation. So any areas of heaviness, any areas of lightness, of restlessness, of stillness. Tension and relaxation Just scanning down from head to toe. And as you're scanning down, just starting to become more aware of the breath, the movement of the breath in the body. So in the same way, the scan on the body not, trying to do anything in particular just being curious, interested, just watching. That rising and falling sensation. And begin in a very general way, just notice where in the body you feel that movement, as the body breaths. Begin to notice if the breaths are long or short, deep or shallow. The mind's gonna wander at times, it's okay, it's normal. Just notice the wandering, acknowledge it and let it go, and come back to the breath. So we're just gonna stay with the breath for about a minute. So nothing to do, the body knows how to breath. Just watching where that movement. And each time we realize the mind's wandered off, just acknowledging it, letting it go,...
