Welcome. Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and a slow, steady breath out. If it feels right for you, maybe resting a hand on your heart. So the truth is you care deeply. You wanna be there for the people you love, and still, you can't do it all or be it all for everyone. That can be a hard truth to swallow. Notice how it feels to name this. And if guilt, sadness, or a feeling of anxiousness arises, without pushing it away, you can just gently say to yourself, "How I feel in this moment is normal and natural, and this feeling is coming from a place of love." Now that we've named this, we can begin to ask ourselves, "What else could be true alongside the guilt, the nervousness around accepting help? What else could be a possibility?" Maybe that is accepting help doesn't mean we failed. It means we're creating space for more care for ourselves and for others. So taking another deep breath here. And on the exhale, opening your eyes. And remember, as these challenges arise, you can always come back to this practice anytime you need a gentle reminder and a shift in perspective....
