Better mental health starts with Headspace

Welcome to this exercise on hibernation. My intention is that you utilize the tools in this practice to achieve radical rest, to be able to prioritize filling your energy reserves, aiding your personal practice of self growth and healing. Take this next moment to center yourself. You can continue with any activities you may be doing, but if you can, find a comfortable position with your back lying on the floor with your knees bent facing up to allow your body to stay active during this practice. Taking a deep breath in, releasing it out. Another one like that deep breath in releasing it out. Breathing at your own pace, finding your own rhythm. Prioritizing what you need in this moment and getting it. That could be finding some movement. Maybe stretching during this practice. Whatever you need, whatever your intuition is calling for. I invite you to listen to your body during this practice. As you settle your muscles allowing for the ground underneath you to hold you. I invite you to go on a journey, a visualization of what it means to prepare for the winter, to prepare for moments of scarcity, whether that is physical scarcity, energetic scarcity, spiritual scarcity. I invite you to tap into the spirit of preparation, breathing in, and breathing out. Imagine that the air around you is getting cooler, and the earth around you starting to change. The leaves are falling. The days are getting shorter. The nights are getting colder. And there is less action, less activity around you. There is a calling around you for rest. And in order to do that, I invite you to prepare to store your energy. Similarly to a bear or a squirrel. I invite you to build up energy from what's around you. Calling in the energy that you want to nourish you during this time. Calling in love, comfort, care. Attracting the energy of union warmth. Whatever you need close to you during this time, I invite you to see it arriving near you. And as these things start to magnetize to you, I invite you now to take them into a cave, a warm, comfortable, safe, and secure space. Upon arriving to this cave, you start to decorate its walls with the things you have magnetized to you, the energy that you have brought to yourself. In this space, I also invite you to call your energy back to yourself where your energy does not need to be outside of the cave. This could be certain projects that you can pass during this next cycle. Relationships, conversations, the amount of time you spend on your phone, whatever practices, whatever experiences that do not need your energy in this moment. I invite you to call your energy back to yourself. And as you begin to cut at the loose ends of your energy flitting about outside of the cave, you are able to build your energy within. As your energy builds up in...
