Hi, and welcome to your practice. In this session, we're given the opportunity to release and let go any thoughts, tension, tightness, worries, concern, whatever it is. Now in my own practice, I love envisioning being beside the ocean and allowing the waves to carry anything that has been holding me down. So we have the ocean drum here today, as well as the Koshi chimes. And as I play them, I'll be guiding you through a visualization to invite you to do the same, to place any worries, thoughts, things to do into the ocean, and allow the ocean to hold them and carry them. So when you're ready, settle in, and let's begin. (meditative music) You can do this practice sitting upright or lying down, whatever feels best for you. (meditative music continues) And if it feels supportive, you can rest one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. (meditative music continues) Now, taking a slow inhale in through the nose, feeling the breath rise like a gentle wave and exhaling out through the mouth, allowing the wave to fall and just continuing at a pace that feels right for you. And as I begin to bring in the rhythmic sounds of the ocean drum, (ocean drum rattling) allowing the waves to guide your breath, inviting a sense of ease and stillness with each breath in and releasing any tension or worries as you breathe out. (ocean drum rattling) As you continue to breathe with the sounds of the ocean drum, (ocean drum continues rattling) beginning to imagine being by the ocean. (ocean drum continues rattling) Maybe it's somewhere you've been to or it's an imagined place. (ocean drum continues rattling) You're standing near the shoreline, feeling the cool sand beneath you, (ocean drum continues rattling) watching as the tide rolls in and rolls out. (ocean drum continues rattling) Each time a wave rolls in, it brings a sense of presence and peace. (ocean drum continues rattling) Each time a wave rolls out, it carries away any worries, tensions, concerns. (ocean drum continues rattling) And imagining you can place a thought, a feeling, a moment that you would like to release into the water (ocean drum continues rattling) and allowing the ocean tide to carry it and to hold it, (ocean drum continues rattling) watching as the tide carries it out. (ocean drum continues rattling) And we'll spend a few moments here continuing to watch the waves roll in and roll out, (ocean drum continues rattling) placing what no longer serves you into the ocean, (ocean drum continues rattling) and with each moment, feeling a little lighter, a little more freer. (ocean drum continues rattling) And you'll hear the bell towards the end of the practice as it comes to a close. (ocean drum continues rattling) So just continuing in your own time, and I'll see you at the end. (ocean drum continues rattling) (ocean drum rattling) (Koshi chimes ringing) (bell dings) (bell dings) (bell dings)...
