We tend to think that the mind lives inside our head. Of course, we might feel like that's where we are. So it's natural to assume that the mind lives in there, but that's not really how we experience the mind. If you take a moment right now to imagine somewhere you've been. Maybe it's a beach or some mountains. My guess is you won't be imagining it inside your head. Typically, we're projecting it. Well, for most people, we're projecting it just in front of us, but maybe it's just above the head or a little to the left, a little to the right. But it's really interesting, because it suggests that the mind in some way exists outside of our head, outside of our body. So then we get into a really interesting question. Where does the mind begin and where does it end? You might've done that visualization where you imagine the mind expanding further and further outward. From the street, to the town, to the country, to the continent, and even the entire planet. With this visualization, we get a feeling of space, so different from when we caught up with our day-to-day thinking. And maybe this exercise offers a clue, that although it can sometimes feel as though the mind is confined to our head, to our body, ultimately, it's limitless....
