Welcome back to Headspace Pro and to day one of level six. So in level five, we were looking at this idea of perception and how we can potentially apply a slightly different approach to both our meditation and our life so that we experience things in a different way, a lighter way, and we're gonna continue that theme in level six but looking through the lens of identity. So that idea of me, myself and I, so somehow being separate from the rest of the world, wanting to own certain thoughts, feelings, things, and not wanting to own others, really just two sides of the same coin. When we sit and train the mind, and especially when we're sitting in silence, we start to see how that defines our experience of every moment. The more layers of storyline we create around every thought, every feeling, every sensation, the more scrambled the mind becomes, the less clarity we have, and the more we lose that sense of calm. So we're gonna be looking into this over the next 10 days. As you begin today's session, though, just noticing how often, and not thinking about it, just noticing how often those words, me or mine or I, arise as you're sitting there watching the mind. Right now, though, just getting yourself comfortable. And when you're ready in the usual way. Just beginning with some big deep breaths. And when you're ready now, just gently opening the eyes again. Just taking a moment. Just to appreciate that feeling. Just a greater sense of awareness, clarity. And as you continue into your day today knowing that it's possible to carry that same level of awareness into your day. Just noticing that interplay of self and other. Noticing how the mind is constantly seeking to own the experience. This is gonna make a lot more sense as we continue over the next few days as we start to break that down, but the starting point is really to notice how the mind is constantly seeking, so to create this idea of a lasting permanent self, which is experiencing everything that's happening rather than simply being present with the experience in that moment as it happens. As I say, we'll go into this in much more detail tomorrow. I'll look forward to seeing you back here then for day two....
