Hi there, and welcome to this positive affirmation practice for parenting. The journey of parenting is full of ups and downs, and it's easy for parents to find themselves in the space of harsh self-judgment and feelings of guilt. These affirmations are designed to help you reframe your thoughts and beliefs and stay confident and resilient throughout it all. So let's start by adopting a comfortable posture of awareness. Taking a gentle, deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. And with that exhalation, returning the breath to its natural rhythm. Allowing the eyes to close if it's comfortable for you, and bringing your full attention and awareness to this moment. And let's now begin by repeating the following to yourself. I'm only human. Mistakes will be made, and that's okay. It's actually a moment for learning. I'm only human. Mistakes will be made, and that's okay. It's actually a moment for learning. I'm only human. Mistakes will be made, and that's okay. It's actually a moment for learning. And gently bringing the attention back to the breath just for a moment. And now continuing, repeating the following to yourself. Letting go of my ego is how I practice effective learning. Letting go of my ego is how I practice effective learning. Letting go of my ego is how I practice effective learning. I'm so grateful for my ability to accept when I'm not in the right. I'm so grateful for my ability to accept when I'm not in the right. I'm so grateful for my ability to accept when I'm not in the right. And now gently shifting the attention back to yourself, back to your body, and back to your breath. And just gently noticing how you're feeling in this moment, noticing with gentle and kind curiosity. And if it's comfortable for you, taking another gentle, deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Allowing the eyes to gently open if they were closed, and just letting it all go as you move into your next activity with resilience and confidence....
