Moving from a 'solo' meditation to a group setting

As a way to branch out, I'm taking a beginning meditation group class this weekend. Any advice for going from solo meditation to a group setting?

Andy's Answer:

Yeah, it's going to feel very different and the meditation will also feel different without the guidance. My guess is you will probably be sat in silence. There is something very useful and even inspiring about sitting with others, so enjoy it if you can. Some people find it a little off putting at first, but if you focus on your own practice and remember that thinking about what others might be thinking about is just more thinking and should be treated in the same way as any other kind of thinking, then you will be fine. Have fun.
