Hello again, thanks for joining us for tonight's visit to rain day antiques. It's always an enjoyable place to visit but especially so on a night like this. It's a place of calm, a place of coziness. It's almost as though it exists somewhere outside normal space and time, a shelter for more than just the weather. Before we begin our visit, I think it's nice to start with a quick wind down. For tonight's wind down, you're going to use your imagination. So no matter what's been going on today, whether it's been a busy day or a come one, this is an opportunity to put everything down, to let go of any inner chatter and find a place of rest in both the body and the mind. So first, get yourself comfortable in bed taking a moment to pause and be still. And when you're ready, take a big, deep, breath breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. But as you breathe out, allowing the body to sink down into your bed, feeling the weight of the body, allowing thoughts to come and go. Now imagining a steady flow of warm sunlight flowing down through the body dissolving any tension, any discomfort as it begins to fill the body, starting with the toes moving up through the feet and the legs being filled with sunlight. The quality is a warmth space and ease as it continues to travel up through the body, up past the waist to the back and the stomach, it's as though it washes away any discomfort. It continues up through the chest and the back into the shoulders and down the arms all the way down to the hands and fingers. A sense of relief in the body and stillness in the mind, as it continues to travel up through the neck and the throat into the hand and face all the way to the very top of the body until there's nothing other than a sense of stillness remaining. Now gently bringing the attention back to the body. If you've ever found yourself one evening wandering down a quiet street in the rain, looking for somewhere to take shelter, you'll know what a blessed relief it is, to find such a place as rain day antiques. It (murmurs) into view between two residential buildings. A beautiful double fronted store with a big window, on either side of the entrance. The windows are divided up into square panes, and the glass between the metal bars, is ever so slightly wavy giving the place a dreamlike quality. This quaint little establishment, stays open 24/7, if you can believe it. Catering to international antique connoisseurs who might arrive at any hour, and casual passersby. Which of these categories you fall into? Well, that's up to you. On a night like tonight, when the streetlamps are fuzzy halos, and the rain starts coming down harder, so that your footsteps make little slaps and squelches...
