Hi, and welcome to this Headspace walk from London Bridge to Waterloo. An opportunity to walk the South Bank of the River Thames and truly appreciate this famous stretch of river as well as the iconic landmarks and architecture we'll see along the way. Our starting point is going to be at the Borough Market exit of London Bridge underground station on Borough High Streets. If you're not already there, just make your way over and find a quiet spot where you can stand for a minute. Before we begin, we're going to take a moment to get centered physically so that later we can get centered mentally. This exercise is designed to help us step out of the thinking mind. So that we bring our attention into the present moment and allow the mind to calm down a little bit. It's from a quiet mind that we tend to find our focus or become clearer on what motivates us in work home sports or life in general. So first, place your feet shoulder with a part, standing straight but relaxed, just feeling the weight of your body on your feet subtly shifting your weight from side to side pressing each sole into the ground. Just stay with this gentle sensation for a moment or two. And as you do so bring to mind a goal or intention that requires your motivation or maybe you need clarity on goal setting or a certain situation. Keep settling into your center point the weight's spread evenly and consider this question. What's motivating you right now? What goal matters? How would you best want the situation to be resolved? No need to answer those questions. No need for a timeframe either. Just let the query rest in your mind for now, because the little steps we take together on this walk will be a little steps toward that goal or motivation or the clarity you seek. Okay. Let's start to walk. Away from the station using Biddle Street towards Southern Cathedral which will also give us a glimpse of Borough Market. No special pace required, just breathing in and out feeling the natural rhythm of your gait the way your arms subtly swing by your side feeding the ground with each step. Don't think too much about all of this. Just a gentle focus is enough. By bringing our attention to the sensations. We keep our awareness in the body to stop us getting distracted or caught up in the thinking mind. Once you reach the Cathedral, take the left fork down Cathedral Street round to Pickfords Wharf which brings you to Clink Street. As we walk this route, we'll look up and bring in the surroundings too connecting with one of the most beautiful cities in the world. But for now let's settle into a steady, comfortable rhythm. Always minding the road and other pedestrians. Just continue on Clink Street, go under the bridge and follow the path right towards the river....
