We spend a third of our time on this planet sleeping, so you’d think that we’d be pretty good at it by now.
That doesn’t seem to be the case though, and we certainly get a lot of questions about sleep and the lack thereof at Headspace. It’s a big reason people turn to meditation and mindfulness. Getting the right amount of sleep can have a big impact on the rest of our lives, so we invited Dr Adrian Williams, Professor of Sleep Medicine at King’s College, London and one of the world’s foremost experts on sleep, to answer some of our biggest questions – why do we sleep, how long should we sleep, how can we sleep better?
