How ten days of meditation actually changed the way we train.
This week on Radio Headspace, we’re talking about paths to recovery. I’ll be joined by two incredible women whose stories are truly inspiring.
First, I speak to Ella Woodward in London. You may already be familiar with her hugely popular food blog Deliciously Ella, but may not know about her recovery from an illness that left her bed-ridden for six months before she started changing her diet. We talk about how overhauling her diet had a dramatic effect on her life in every way.You can get Ella’s first book Deliciously Ella now, and make sure you check out her blog for some brilliant recipes, advice and recommendations.
I’ll also be joined by Megan Pishke, an ex-professional snowboarder who, in late 2012, was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Megan was brave enough to make an incredibly honest film about her ensuing treatment, and her battle with the disease. The film is called Chasing Sunshine and it’s out at the end of the month. To watch the trailer and find out where the film is screening, go to the website. Megan also works with Boarding for Breast Cancer, an organization that we are very proud to support at Headspace.
