Sometimes in life we get so busy just trying to be a grown up that we forget what really makes us happy. We’re thinking so far ahead that we miss the little moments each day.
Remember when all you did was roll down hills, paint on surfaces you weren’t supposed to, build forts, create entire imagined lives and play them out?
This week, the podcast had a simple mission – to remember what it was like to be a child, and find out how to get back there a little bit. So I asked a group of children between four and eight-years-old about what makes them happy, then asked some adults the same questions.
Some of the responses were expected, some were really surprising, all of it made me want to see the world through a child’s eyes again: without fear, without stress, constantly curious, and only concerned with the present moment.
